John Chase originally opened the doors as one of the first mortgage brokerages in Kingston in August 1980. We remain at the same location to this day.

Each of our agents has a minimum of 25 years in the mortgage industry which gives them the experience and knowledge to be able to get your financing request approved quickly.

John Chase, the owner of Chase Financial, has been a lender all his adult life. John started his career in 1968 in the finance business; he climbed the ladder to management, eventually to an executive position at their Canadian headquarters in London, Ontario. With downsizing in the finance industry imminent, John took the opportunity to change to a related field as a mortgage broker and own his own business as a Franchise Owner/Mortgage Broker. In May 1989 John received his Mortgage Broker Diploma from the Ontario Mortgage Broker Association. John further broadened his abilities to assist clients by starting a small mortgage lending company called “Onitario Investments Ltd.”. This company enables the mortgage brokerage, Chase Financial, to offer alternative funding for special circumstances that do not meet the lending criteria of the institutional lenders. This has greatly advantaged Chase Financial to assist many more clients and the borrowers are able to meet their lender and develop a personal relationship.

Gib Hannah – Mortgage Agent

Gib Hannah has been with Chase Financial since 1990. Gib started his career in lending in 1966 and worked his way up through the financial business becoming a manager of several different branch offices, before moving on to become a successful mortgage agent, which he has enjoyed doing for the past twenty-four years.

Nancy Nairn – Mortgage Agent

Nancy Nairn joined the company in March 2001. Nancy brings to our clients more than twenty years of banking experience as well as six and a half years with a major financial planning company as a “Mortgage Specialist” for Kingston, Belleville and Brockville. This career base benefits consumers in their quest for financing; Nancy believes our clients deserve the best products and exemplary communication throughout the financing process from beginning to end. Clients are her first priority and that keeps the customers informed, at ease and confident in their financing decisions and removes the work and worry from the process.
